*takes a deep breath*

I'm going to stop writing entries here. At least the public entries.
I'm midway locking the old entries, one by one. Really tough, since I'm not a paid lj-er.

I share occasionally bits at http://tinana.tumblr.com
There's a rss feed there as well.
There's also http://twitter.com/tinana
I have a pretty twitter client (twirl) so it has my constant attention.

Maybe, when I'm all of emokidz_85@hotmail.com, you'll see me here again.

For users of Google Reader, you'll have to go here and use his site as a proxy. That means you need to log into his site with your lj user and password (or openid). A bit worrying for those who are concerned about privacy issues, but I don't really care.

Yes okay, let's make life easier for the Innies.
Caring For Your Introvert: http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200303/rauch

The article is funny, though it makes extroverts sound like idiots. D: And undesirable to be extroverts (Why am I so common and easily understood? Why am I lumped together with George Bush! WHY.)

I'm practically surrounded by introverts in VJ 65 (Gan, Darren, Jabir, Yuch), and I remember driving them nuts with my continuous "Are you okay?" because they was quiet and you know, lack of chatter means lack of energy, and something must be bothering them, right?

Wrong, I've slowly understood. I started to learn the differences in thought processes as well. Innies internalized and extros work it out aloud (as what Enn recently witnessed; a full-blown THINKING-OUT-LOUD-5-minute-session on whether we should jaywalk as um, performed by yours truly. I CAN'T HELP IT I WAS SLEEP-DEPRIVED SELF-CONTROL REDUCES). Which was the biggest take-away for me from the MBTI personality workshop.

There are a couple more which you can find out by googling it.

For my defense, I don't thrive on small talk! Small talk is only enjoyable if it preludes to finding out more about you. (I enjoy watching my innies friends talk about something that interests them. It's strangely attractive.) I detest small talk too. Try keeping up a conversation about nothing with pub or restaurant customers so that they will feel more inclined to buy more beer. While on 3-inch black boots.

After-exam plans
During the exam period, you always know what you want to do after your exams or after your school term. Was flipping through the Esplanade Diary, a couple of performances that caught my eye:

1. The Great Spy Experiment, Recital Studio, 25 April, 9.30pm, $25

Not quite the venue I imagined them to be in, but $25 is very affordable for such a good band! (As compared to *cough* Maroon 5.)

2. Lunch with Wong Kar Wai (by re:mix, Singapore), Concert Hall, 29 April, 12.45pm, FREE

3. Radio and Juliet (by Slovene National Theatre Maribor, Slovenia), Theatre, 3 Jun, 8pm, $35-$105

In Radio and Juliet, choreographer Edward Clug unites Shakespeare’s most famous story of all times with one of UK’s foremost rock bands Radiohead, in his characteristic sharp movements. Taking a different angle to the traditional plot, he reveals an utterly amazing body language in this intimate re-play of the eternal love story.

I don't normally watch dance performances (except for the times I had to do my dance reviews for a course) but this one sounds interesting, marrying alternative music and Shakespeare.

4. The Lords of the Rings Symphony: Six Movements for Orchestra, Chorus and Soloists (by artists from Singapore & Slovenia), Concert Hall, 5 & 6 Jun, 7.30pm, $35-$150

5. Five Foot Broadway Mini Musicals (by Musical Theatre Limited and Sing Avenue Productions, Singapore), Theatre Studio, 16 Jun, 8pm, $25

Showcase of 6 mini-musicals, each 10-to-15-minutes.

6. Short+Sweet Gala Final, Theatre Studio, 27-29 Jun (Fri-Sun), 8pm, $35

Bite-sized theatre FTW!

For more events, go to the Esplanade event calendar.

Honey & Clover (TV Drama)
Since I'm in my Official slack-off time, plus doing a mask pretty much restricts what you can do, here I am, writing a post! (Justification, justification.)

I really enjoyed the Honey & Clover anime, and was looking forward to the TV adaptation.

I'm into episode 4 of the series and I really hate what they did with Morita. UGH. He was my favourite character in the anime and watching Narimiya Hiroki play him was painful. He was just too much of an art poseur and not the effortlessly eccentric Morita portrayed in the anime (and manga).

Also, the series so far seem to lack the wistful tone of the anime. One of the reasons I'm still watching is Takemoto, played by Ikuta Toma. (♥♥♥) And also such is my love for the anime series. Every episode I'm hoping for it to get better.
